The Gyronimo Performance Pad for Cessna 172M offers a comprehensive toolset for accurate flight planning, focusing on mass & balance and aircraft performance data.

Compatibility requires an iPad 2 or newer, or an iPad Mini Retina. The latest version now supports both Standard and Long Range tanks, enhancing versatility.

The application allows users to calculate and interpolate performance parameters directly from the Cessna 172M Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH), enabling efficient and precise planning.

The interface facilitates rapid completion of flight plans, with real-time updates displayed through high-resolution graphics optimized for iPad 2/3 and iPad Mini devices.

Users can adjust key input values via sliders, providing a straightforward method to explore various scenarios and perform "what if" analyses swiftly.

The tool identifies optimal cruise altitudes, takeoff ground rolls, landing distances, climb performance metrics, and stall speeds, supporting thorough pre-flight assessment.

The Performance Pad features seven main pages:

• Mass & Balance Page: Computes center of gravity, moments, takeoff weight, zero fuel weight, and percent MAC. It allows quick input of personnel and baggage weights with intuitive sliders. Graphical displays—Moment Envelope, CG Envelope, and Aircraft Axis—assist in verifying weight distribution; a comprehensive load manifest can be generated and emailed for documentation.
• Takeoff Page: Calculates takeoff ground roll and landing distances based on actual aircraft data, considering parameters such as aircraft mass, pressure altitude, temperature, runway conditions (dry paved to snow), slope, and wind vectors.
• Climb Page: Estimates time, fuel consumption, and distance during climb, factoring in the difference between takeoff elevation and target flight level, alongside temperature and wind conditions. Rate of climb and climb speed are also displayed.
• Cruise Page: Determines optimal cruising altitude based on trip distance, flight level preferences, engine RPM, temperature profiles, wind, and altimeter settings using actual POH data.
• Landing Page: Computes landing distances considering wind conditions, elevation, and altitude settings. The integrated Wind Components Computer facilitates quick assessment of wind effects for both takeoff and landing phases.
• Stall Speed Page: Calculates stall speeds at various bank angles and flap configurations in KIAS and KCAS from POH-derived data.
• Setup: Offers options to load and save up to five aircraft configurations or scenarios. Users can email a mass & balance summary and access tutorial videos via linked channels.

The software operates in two modes: "Individual Mode" allows standalone calculations; "Plan Mode" consolidates values across pages into a comprehensive Flight Summary for complete performance analysis.
